Comfortably Numb － Pink Floyd

2005年7月2日，拆夥二十年的Pink Floyd與Roger Walters在倫敦海德公園的Live 8演唱會團聚了。 四位年屆六十的搖滾老英雄在多年的激烈爭執訴訟後頭髮已然斑白，搖滾不死－David Gilmour溫暖洗鍊的嗓音、扣人心弦的吉他solo，Roger Waters 的憂鬱和企圖狂野，勾沉起台下的老搖滾樂迷多少的共同記憶和私秘想像？在那個初夏的夜晚，我們被那巨大的哀傷美好徹底淹沒。

Pink Floyd 的歌曲一直不乏眾多歌迷爭相解碼、哲學化，歌詞順著讀倒著讀顛上倒下，深恐遺漏了任何哲思密碼，這首Comfortably Numb主要旋律由David Gilmour 編寫，Roger Waters 完成大部份的歌詞。根據他自己的說法，歌詞的靈感來自於1977年 < Animals> 專輯巡演的費城站後台，當時的他被突如其來的胃痙攣折磨到險些無法上台，然後，醫生為他注射了一劑止痛針，隨後，藥效讓他產生了某種幻覺，於是，這首歌的歌詞自他腦中流瀉而出。。。。。。
